Honda NSR 125 JC20 Alcast Easy Project in Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester for sale

I bought this bike last year as a genuine barn find with the intention of doing a full restoration on it but as I have got behind with other projects I'm offering it to a new home. It has been dry stored for approximately 10 years and not been on the road since. It has had some restoration work from previous owner including wheels repainted in a pearlescent white, the frame, fuel tank, engine and swinging arm have been resprayed and most of the nuts and bolts on the bike have been replaced with stainless ones. Previous owner had done a full top end rebuild on the bike but never got it running due to an electrical fault. I have replaced the cdi unit and fitted new coil, plug and battery and it now starts and runs perfectly. You're welcome to carry out a compression test on this engine. The fairings are complete and generally in very good order for a bike of this age (they are just loosely in place for the pictures) but the paintwork is quite tatty in places. The bike would only need some basic jobs for MOT but is well worthy of a proper restoration as these are now very rare and worth decent money in fully restored condition. It will need new tyres and fork seals as these are perished. Has covered less than 18000 miles and has had only 3 previous owners, I have the full V5 in my name.
